New on the Stack in September 2017

As per usual, I will be linking up to The Deliberate Reader for this post. Here are the books I’ve acquired since last month’s post. Next to each book I give a short explanation why I chose to pick up that particular book. (Clicking on the picture of each book will take you to the book’s Amazon page, through an affiliate link.)

Purchased Physical Book

Designing Your Life: How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life by Bill Burnett

My university started a book club for alumni – how cool is that!? This is the first book we’re reading.

Mine! by Jeff Mack

My mother checked this out at the library. I saw it and fell in love. 🙂

Unsinkable by Gordan Korman

I owned books two and three, but not book one so… I bought it!

Hyperbole and a Half by Allien Brosh

This one has been on my list for a long while!

Gemina by Amie Kaufman

I was going to wait until closer to when the third book in this series comes out, but I just couldn’t do it!

Sugar and Spice by Lisa Papademitriou

This should be a fun and quick read to help me reach my 100 book goal.

Purchased eBook

A Fool and His Monet by Sandra Orchard

I saw this on one of Deliberate Reader‘s posts and since it was free, I snagged it!

Married to Santa by Beverly Farr

If you can’t tell, I went on a Beverly Farr kick this month. Her books are cute and quick to read.

Approaching Plain by Beverly Farr

The Baby Tree by Beverly Farr

The Designer by Marius Gabriel

I honestly have no idea where this book came from. Looks like it might be pretty good though!

Muse by Kyle Quillinan

A fantasy that peaked my interest.

Borrowed eBook Through Kindle Unlimited

The Donut Cookbook by Gordan Rock

Um. Donuts. That is all. 🙂

Calming the Storm by Melanie Snitker

It was suggested to me based on my reading habits.

Plain Fame series by Sarah Price
(Plain Fame, Plain Change, Plain Again, Plain Return, Plain Choice, Plain Christmas)

It turns out that Approaching Plain by Beverly Farr was a fan-fiction for this series. So of course I had to pick it up.

Any great books that are new on your stack?

❤️ Annette
