Time for another edition of Top Ten Tuesday! This week’s theme is books that we wanted to read in 2017, but didn’t. Most of these books I pulled from my TBRs – meaning I fully intended to read them, but it never really happened. I will be linking this post to The Broke and Bookish.

2. Gemina by Amie Kaufmann and Jay Kristoff
I own this book and really, really want to read it. But I’m also very worried that it’s going to end on a cliffhanger and then I will die because the next book isn’t out yet. So I’ve been procrastinating this one. 😛
3. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
I have no good reason I haven’t picked this one up yet. I want to read it, and it sits on my nightstand staring at me, but I just haven’t taken the plunge. This is another one definitely happening in 2018.
5. Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans
I was supposed to read this for a book club. But I never got around to it, and therefore never participated in that book club. Oops. Here’s to hoping I’ll participate the next round!
6. Anatomy of a Boyfriend by Daria Snadowsky
I will read it this year! I will! I ordered this online years ago, and I even have the sequel. It’s nice and shiny and new, and yet I still haven’t read it. *sigh*
7. When to Rob a Bank by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner
I’ve read and loved all three Freakonomics books. So when the authors came out with this one, I had to have it. I know as soon as I pick it up I won’t be able to put it back down. I just haven’t picked it up yet. 😀
8. Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
I’m actually reading this right now. Then again, I’ve been “reading” this for a couple of years now. I’ve never made it past the Babble Fish (which is super cool, by the way). I hope to finish this in January.
10. Windfall by Jennifer Smith
I also hope to finish this one in January. The concept is intruiging, and now I don’t have to worry about finding “quick” reads to read my 100 book goal in 2017. (I met the goal (yay!) and my goal this year is only 12 books.)
What books did you want to read in 2017, but didn’t get around to?
